Works Begin on New €75 Million Organic Processing Plant
To date, 24 families have lost one of their loved ones in a road accident this year. Mothers and fathers who lost their children. Loved ones who have lost each other. Children who have lost grandparents.
The Road Safety Council is stepping up its preparations for educational campaigns that will culminate in the festivities. These campaigns are intended not only for those who drive, but also for all road users. Those who do not drive need to be careful as well, for example crossing on a zebra crossing and not randomly.
The festive season is approaching, so it is good to start campaigning from now and not just because of the festivities. A difference can be made with small shifts in attitudes - but they would mean a lot such as:
