The Employee Support Programme (ESP) will soon be operational at a more central location in Valletta. From here, the ESP will offer psychologists, counselors, social workers and career guidance services for all public officers from one place. This will be done through the construction of another floor in the building currently hosting the People’s and Standards Division (P&SD) and the Department of Information in Castille Square.

The extension of the ESP in this new building is one of the new projects recently launched by the Public Service, as part of the 5-year strategy “Towards a Service of Excellence”.

This project goes hand in hand with the People 360 programme, where people are not seen as a resource but as a key element in its entire complexity. The work of the People 360 programme is focused on getting the most out of employees and pushing forward the talents that exist in such a large organisation as the Public Service.
