From the beginning of January to the end of June 2025, 38 consultations were published, of which 14 were legislative and 24 were non-legislative. The total amount of submissions from the Public was 14,182 comments. Most of these submissions referred to the consultation on Assisted Voluntary Euthanasia. The total amount of submissions received on euthanasia on the website was 13,788.

Compared to the same period (January to June) of the year 2024, it’s very noticeable that there have been several increases both in the amounts of consultations being issued and in the number of responses.

Working behind the scenes on this site is a team of public officers from all ministries coordinated by the public consultations unit within the Office of the Prime Minister.
