Gozo’s Public Transport Service Now Fully Electric Following €11 Million Investment
Agriculture and Rural Payment Agency's mobile app BiedjaCam serves as a link between the Agency and local farmers. Such an app provides users (farmers) with a platform through which the Agency may communicate directly with the farmer with any notices, information requests, clarifications, etc. The functionalities of the app also aim to reduce the need for on-the-spot checks carried out on farmers' holdings, given that certain checks may be carried out remotely using satellite imagery, while users may submit geotagged photos through the app as evidence in response to any verifications being carried out by the Agency. Such a system benefits farmers who may take action to address certain issues/breaches in a timely manner and therefore ensure that they receive full payment under the support schemes they are benefitting from. Further to all this, the App also provides farmers with all the information they require including on payments received under the various support schemes administered by ARPA.
BiedjaCam can be downloaded from Apple Store and Google Play
