169 OFFICERS BENEFIT FROM LEAVE BANK

Date 14.12.2022
Time 5 minutes
The Leave Bank is a means for public officials to help colleagues who are going through special cases. During 2021, 169 employees benefited from about 50,000 hours.

The Leave Bank is just one way of demonstrating how employees’ welfare remains a priority for the Public Administration. The Public Service provides various measures for work-life balance as well as mechanisms to safeguard employees’ well-being and mental health.

The Leave Bank offers the possibility for public employees to voluntarily donate hours of their leave or time-off to a central fund. These hours are utilised on a humanitarian basis by colleagues in need.

You too can make a donation. Public employees can contact the Human Resources Department of their respective Ministry in order to obtain more information on how to donate part of the leave or how they can benefit from this measure by meeting eligibility criteria.

Employees are also invited to call the One-Stop-Shop for public officials on 22001225 or send an email to [email protected] for more information.
