With effect from 3 April 2023, Public Officers will benefit from improved measures and the introduction of modern work practices for enhanced work-life balance. After extensive consultation with headship positions within the Public Service and Unions, the work practices of Reduced Hours, Flexi-time, Flexi-week and Remote Working will be structured and strengthened. These measures are only applicable where service permits and provided that shift patterns are not affected.
There will be a transition period that starts from 3 April and ends on 15 June, during which these measures will be adopted in favour of work-life balance of the individual.
